Custom Cabinet Specifications
All Zoom-Room orders come with a mechanism and mattress included.  Call us for complete shop drawings, that must be followed exactly.  And send us drawings you have of the custom cabinet you're going to build for review before your cabinetmaker starts cutting pieces - we want to make sure all is well when it comes time to install.

Space and Other Requirements

​Important: Please Read
  • Your Zoom-Room bed will extend 104"-106" from the back of the cabinet. This area must be unobstructed.
  • A Zoom-Room will not “climb” over area rugs – they will have to be removed in order to operate the bed.
  • Floors must be level and smooth.
  • Floors may be any hard surface, or covered with low pile wall-to-wall carpeting with thin padding. High pile, shag carpeting, or thick padding will impede the functioning of the bed.
  • Your ceilings must be at least 92” tall. Be sure no ceiling fans or other objects hanging from the ceiling will be in the way when the cabinet is lifted into place.
  • Check to make sure the cabinet will not cover or impede the functioning of windows, doors, air vents, etc.
  • Make sure that there is a standard 110v outlet behind or near the unit to plug in your Zoom-Room bed.
